Enniscrone GC is one of Ireland's finest links courses set in scenic splendour in Killala Bay in County Sligo. This championship venue provides the ultimate golf experience - dramatic dunesland, an inspired design concept, superb greens all year round and breathtaking views. Originally designed by the great Eddie Hackett - Enniscrone's reputation as a top class golf venue has been embellished with the addition of six new holes threading the path through the mountainous dunes. The new holes, expertly designed by the famous course architect, Donald Steele add an exciting dimension to the 27 hole golf championship layout. 6877 yards par 73 links. |
Carne GC was the last links golf course to be designed by the late Eddie Hackett and is now believed by many who have played there to be his greatest challenge. Carne is one of those finest golf courses in Ireland to have opened in recent years and it can only be described as a hidden gem. Situated on the west coast of Ireland, Carne lies in the splendid sand dunes overlooking Blacksod Bay, the legendary Inis Geidhe and the Inis Gluaire Islands. Affording little disturbance to the natural and unspoilt environment that surrounds it, Carne is "everything you could ever ask for from the 1st tee to the 18th green" (Jim Finegan). 6690 yards par 72 links. |
County Sligo Golf Club (Rosses Point) has hosted most of Ireland's major championships over the years. Three extended beaches beneath the cliffs keep the Atlantic at Bay to the west of the course while towering Benbulben competes with the ocean for scenic splendour on the land side. Rosses Point has one of the toughest finishes in golf and "a tremendous test for the highest quality player and great fun for the modern competitor" (Peter Alliss). 6609 yards par 71 links. |
Narin and Portnoo GC is situated in a beautiful seaside resort in southwest Donegal. Opened in 1930, it is engagingly old fashioned with a meandering routing over and around the dunes. The course has recently been re-developed and the new par 73 layout offers a range of teeing areas and challenges to suit all golfers. 6856 yards par 73 links. |
Donegal GC (Murvagh) is genuine links golf challenge to the accomplished golfer and is an all round "true" test of golf. Being one of the longest golf courses in Ireland and Europe, it is ideally suited to big hitters of the ball. The reputation of Donegal GC, designed by the legendary course architect Eddie Hackett, has been further enhanced by the new designs of Pat Ruddy. Continually featured in Golf Worlds Top 100 Courses in Ireland & Great Britain, this is a real challenge not to be missed. Darren Clarke has described Donegal Golf Club as "one of my favourite courses in the World". 7280 yards par 73 links. |
