ANNOUNCING THE FORMATION OF
THE NORTH AMERICAN GOLF TOUR OPERATORS ALLIANCE

DARIEN, CT: Debbie Bussey, Chairman, announced the formation of a new tourism organization - The North American Golf Tour Operators Alliance (NAGTOA). The NAGTOA will be made up of United States and Canadian based tour operators that arrange and sell overseas golf packages.

According to Bussey, “The NAGTOA will be an active working organization to promote global golf tourism and provide its members with real business relationships, forums, opportunities and education to grow the global game. Membership is open to any U.S. or Canadian based company that is actively involved in the business of arranging golf tour packages to destinations outside North America.”

The purpose of the Alliance is to:

o Provide its members with a network for the sharing of information
o Facilitate product and destination education
o Promote our members’ products to consumers
o Serve as an advocate to destinations and vendors
o Further promote international golf travel throughout North America

Bussey continued, “ The game has taken on global proportions and the 25 Founding Member Companies are not only selling the traditional golf destinations of Scotland and Ireland, but also emerging golf destinations that include New Zealand, Costa Rica, The Czech Republic and even China, to name a few. It is important as the destination list grows our members have an organization that is dedicated to promoting business opportunities.”

“We are excited to announce our inaugural business opportunity for members will be the First Annual North & West Coast Links Golf Challenge, to be held in Ireland September 8-15, 2007,” stated Bussey. “The tournament experience will be enhanced for the consumer participants by the combined selling efforts of the membership, and the joint selling will reduce the risk to the members of having to individually hold a large amount of confirmed space. We look forward to expanding these types of programs and others to more destinations in the coming years.”
